I can choose to make a slight move in the direction I desire by reaching for a feeling that feels a little bit better, like all feelings are temporary, or I remember feeling this way before and I hope it is short lived, and I really do feel better in hoping than feeling stuck without options. I get into trouble when I don't want to settle for …just a little bit better, …and I make myself worse by being stuck in …I don't feel well and I'm mad about that, or it's YOUR fault I feel this way. I come back to this personally balancing statement of ….I always seem to work it out, I'm smart and I have a lot of talents, and though I'm not a fan of the cloudy vista of change, …it is becoming clearer, …then my hope has a little space to shine.
